Common Questions

Quick answers before you call

Why isn't there a shopping cart on this site?

Fitment depends on VIN-level detail that a dropdown can't reliably capture. A specialist verifying your VIN catches mismatches before they become a wrong-part return, and quotes condition-based pricing that changes hourly on used inventory.

What information should I have ready when I call?

Your 17-digit VIN is fastest. If you don't have it, year, make, model, trim, and engine size work.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship to all 50 U.S. states via standard ground and palletized LTL freight for larger items.

Have your VIN? Let's find your part.

Specialists are standing by during business hours. Same-day quotes on most requests.

About Atreus Autoparts

A U.S.-based auto parts sourcing and fulfillment operation, built around a simple idea: the fastest way to get the right part is still a phone call to someone who knows parts.

Our Story

Why we built a phone-first parts company

Atreus Autoparts started from a common frustration in the auto parts world: online catalogs full of parts that turn out to be backordered, mismatched, or misrepresented once you actually try to order them. Fitment data is messy, used-part condition changes daily, and pricing on salvage inventory shifts by the hour.

So instead of building another catalog, we built a sourcing desk. Every request is handled by a specialist who checks live availability across our network before quoting a price.

What We Do

Sourcing, verification, and fulfillment

We operate as the layer between buyers and a nationwide network of licensed salvage yards, OEM parts distributors, and aftermarket and remanufacturing suppliers. When you call, we search that network in real time, verify fitment against your VIN, and handle payment, shipping, and warranty paperwork.

We work with individual vehicle owners, independent repair shops, dealerships, and commercial fleets across the United States.

What We Stand On

Our operating principles

Accuracy over speed

We'd rather take an extra few minutes on a call to confirm a VIN than ship a part that doesn't fit.

Plain, upfront pricing

Every quote includes part price, shipping, any core charge, and warranty term — before you agree to anything.

Warranty-backed sourcing

We only work with suppliers who stand behind grading and testing claims, because our warranty rides on theirs.

No pressure, no scripts

Specialists are trained on parts, not sales quotas. If we can't verify fitment, we'll tell you before you buy.

Real people, every call

You'll talk to a parts specialist, not a static FAQ bot or an endless phone tree.

Coverage over guesswork

A wide supplier network means fewer "we don't have that" calls and more real options at different price points.

Who We Serve

Vehicle Owners

Sourcing a part for your own car or truck without wading through fitment charts.

Fleets

Recurring sourcing for commercial fleets that need parts and turnaround they can plan around.

Talk to the team sourcing your part

Same specialists you'll work with on delivery day answer the phone.

Sourcing Options Explained

OEM, new, used, or remanufactured — what's the difference?

OEM — Original Equipment Manufacturer

Brand-new parts made by your vehicle manufacturer or its original supplier. Highest cost, guaranteed exact fit and factory finish.

New Aftermarket

Newly manufactured by an independent parts maker, built to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Cost-effective where factory branding isn't required.

Used / Recycled (Take-Off)

Removed from a donor or salvage vehicle, inspected and graded on condition. The most economical option, backed by a limited warranty.

Remanufactured

A worn core unit rebuilt to factory tolerances with new wear components — a middle ground on cost and reliability for major components.

Added Services

Beyond the part itself

VIN & Fitment Verification

Every quote is checked against your VIN before it's confirmed, reducing wrong-part returns.

Wholesale & Shop Accounts

Recurring pricing and priority sourcing for repair shops, dealerships, and fleets ordering regularly.

Freight & Large-Item Shipping

Palletized freight coordination for engines, transmissions, and large body panels.

Warranty Claims Handling

One phone call starts a warranty claim — we coordinate directly with the supplying yard or manufacturer.

Hard-to-Find Sourcing

Discontinued or low-availability parts searched across our full national network.

Core Return Coordination

Prepaid return labels and instructions provided for parts sold with a refundable core charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything buyers ask before, during, and after a phone order.

Ordering By Phone
Why do I have to order by phone instead of a website cart?

Fitment on used, OEM, and aftermarket parts depends on VIN-level detail — trim, engine size, production date, and factory options — that a shopping cart can't reliably verify. Talking to a specialist means your VIN gets checked before a part is pulled, and you get real-time pricing on used inventory that changes hour to hour.

What information do I need before I call?

Your 17-digit VIN is the fastest route to an accurate quote. Without it, have your year, make, model, trim, and engine size ready. A photo of a damaged part helps too, if you can send one.

Can I request a callback instead of calling in?

Yes. Submit your number and part details on the Contact page and a specialist will call you back, typically within one business day.

Do you sell to the general public or only businesses?

Both. We work with individual vehicle owners as well as independent repair shops, dealerships, and commercial fleets, with wholesale pricing available for recurring business accounts.

Part Condition & Sourcing
What's the difference between OEM, new aftermarket, used, and remanufactured?

OEM parts are made by your vehicle's manufacturer or original supplier. New aftermarket parts are newly made by independent manufacturers to OEM specs. Used/take-off parts are removed from a donor vehicle and graded on condition. Remanufactured parts are rebuilt core units. Full details are on the Parts & Services page.

Are used parts tested before they're sold?

Yes. Suppliers in our network inspect and grade used parts on condition, and mechanical components such as engines and transmissions are functionally tested where applicable before being listed as available.

How do you guarantee a part will fit my vehicle?

We match every part against your VIN, not just year/make/model, since trim and build-date variations affect fitment on many parts.

Warranty & Returns
Do parts come with a warranty?

Yes, every part ships with a written warranty term that varies by condition and source — see our Warranty Policy for specific terms by part type.

What if the part doesn't fit or arrives damaged?

Call us within the return window listed in your paperwork. We'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and walk you through next steps.

What is a core charge?

Certain remanufactured parts — engines, transmissions, alternators, starters — include a refundable core charge that's returned once your old part is sent back in comparable condition. See our Core Charge Policy for details.

Shipping & Payment
Do you ship to all 50 states?

Yes, we ship nationwide via standard ground carriers, and via palletized freight for large or heavy items like engines, transmissions, and body panels.

How long does shipping take?

Most parts ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation and arrive within 2–7 business days depending on distance and part size.

How do I pay for my order?

We accept major credit and debit cards over the phone, and offer invoicing for approved wholesale and fleet accounts.

Can my mechanic or shop order on my behalf?

Yes — many of our orders come directly from repair shops. Just make sure whoever calls has the VIN and part details on hand.

Still have a question?

Specialists are on the phone during business hours to walk through anything not covered here.
